About Studio 1

Studio 1 is a space where students can work on developing and honing skills in music production and performance. The room offers tools such as a Pioneer DDJ-SX2, Akai MPK225, and Novation Launchpad Pro. In addition to these devices, Studio 1 also has software such as Serato DJ Pro and Ableton Live 10 Lite.

Getting Started

To use Ableton Live for music production in Studio 1, you will need to log in with the following credentials:

Username: medialab

Password: medialab

Ableton Live

Ableton Live is a professional DAW (digital audio workstation) that anybody can use to produce whatever kind of music they like.

Akai MPK225

The Akai MPK225 is a wonderful tool for producers. This controller is equipped with 25 piano keys, 8 drum pads, 8 knobs for controlling effects, and more.
